Well let me formally introduce myself, my name is Richard Castera. I’m a Web Developer/Designer but I’m also a Software Engineer. In the past, I did a lot of freelance work which worked out pretty well for me. But the lack of benefits and a solid income made me decide to apply for a real job. So, in the beginning of the year, I began applying for jobs and landed a great position as a Project Manager/Sr. Web Developer at a company called NoamDesign.
I am crazy about Web Standards and Programming, or perhaps even just problem solving is something I have sort of an obsession with. I am very interested in Rich Internet Applications, AJAX, PHP and MVC Style of Engineering. I plan on contributing several Open Source Projects to the Open Source Community (the reason I started this blog). I will also post great resources that I find on the web from time to time.
