What I love most about this project, is the way it started. I think most projects started this way as well.

AlivePDF is an open-source ActionScript 3 (Flash, Flex, AIR) PDF generation library. It allows you to generate PDF's client-side.
While I haven't used this tool, I have heard a great deal about it! Definitely worth a try if your looking to generate PDF's in your Flash applications!
AlivePDF is licensed under the MIT License. In other words, you can do whatever you want with it.
